yeah had some pretty good storms the last few days...only good thing is I dont need to water my outside plants (though I do think we now have a bumper crop of mosquitoes!)

did everyone wish their dads a happy day yesterday?

My dad isn't a part of my life and hasn't been in nearly a decade, so no. We did go out for lunch with my grandfather, though, which was nice.

Dang num it these moderators. No body falls the blimey rules anymore. Suppose to close them at 750 pages, not 501 pages. Dangnumit kids. *grumblegrumble*

The practice of doing such is to save server room Verene. Each thread takes up space on the server. The larger they are, the more space they take up. By closing the old thread it will fall to the archives which take up a heck of a lot less room or are on a different server or something.

Had a good storm this morning and some more that weren't as good later on. So meh. Did work all day though. Got to work by myself which was nice. I was able to catch up on my podcasts.

I wished my brother a happy dads day (my dad died in '84)....and hubby wished his one as well....no grands left on my side--and hubby only has one gramma left (who no one talks to--she is loco).

its monday...and I already need a nap....

We didn't really celebrate fathers day yesterday. Don't know why... But we didn't. Maybe because we were all fairly busy?

...glad I dont have those kinds of issues in my sections (rarely has a sell thread gone on for too many pages....minus one).

lol A sell thread that got as long as an OTA thread would be awful. Would be more like a barter thread than a sell thread.

yeah....cant see trying to figure out who in 100+ pages had the last high bid on item x....would be a sellers nightmare!

sorry azzer you cant spam in ventari's ---or lets say it pretty dang hard to. (we got rules ya'know)...not to mention my ban hammer falls hard.

thanks we have plenty of idio-- I mean posters in ventari's who dont read the rules....dont need any extras. and anyone who does take him up will find themselves in a pretty dang long time out
